Wow! \u00a0Who would have thought we would be this old! \u00a0I keep thinking that with age comes wisdom, does it? \u00a0Growing older has perks but mostly it is harder. \u00a0Slowing down every year gets more noticeable. \u00a0Thoughts of retirement are coming more every day. \u00a0I didn\u2019t want to grow up, really. \u00a0When I talk about what I want to be when I grow up, I still don\u2019t know. \u00a0I do know that I get more tolerable of some things and less tolerable of others \u2013 meaning I just really don\u2019t want any involvement in it.<\/p>\n

Yes, AGE is a number, but so is the temperature and we certainly notice that change! \u00a0I still think I am younger than I really am. \u00a0It is strange to compare where I am as to where my parents were at the same Age.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As I reflect on all this, I see the changes in others. \u00a0We are now taking care of parents, having grandchildren, preparing for retirement, and putting our houses in order.<\/p>\n

Age has a derogatory meaning for some and excitement for others. \u00a0It can mean aches and pains or the chance to do what we always wanted to do!<\/p>\n

I am a half glass full kind of person and hope to be able to do what I want – with the hubby! \u00a0Maybe it’s because of what I said earlier – Age is just a number to me!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
